Dennis Broeders Joins Academic Advisory Board of EU Cyber Direct
Senior Fellow Dennis Broeders is joining the Academic Advisory Board of EU Cyber Direct, a project that brings together governments and non-governmental actors to explore the main issues surrounding international law in cyberspace, norms of responsible state behaviour and Confidence Building Measures.
The academic advisory board is composed of European scholars working on a range of issues relevant to the project objectives, including international law in cyberspace, norms of responsible state behaviour, stability regimes in cyberspace, resilience, etc. The board will help ensure the EU Cyber Direct project delivers policy-relevant research and analysis with the highest academic standards, while taking into account the most recent research and researchers in the field.
Through engagement with civil society, private sector actors, and research institutes from Brazil, China, India, Japan, South Korea, and the United States, as well as the regions of Latin America and the Asia-Pacific, EU Cyber Direct supports EU official cyber dialogues with strategic partners. The project also organises workshops, conferences and meetings to contribute to a better understanding of EU cyber diplomacy and cyber resilience policies worldwide.
